Costa Rica has three different tourist seasons; High, Green and Peak. In true capitalist fashion, the rules of supply and demand mean if you want the best value for money, come see us in the Green Season. However, whenever you come, rest assured you will never forget the Tilawa.

All rooms have two queen size beds, hot water bath, and ceiling fan.

General terms and conditions

• All taxes included (3% ICT and 13% Sales tax)
• Additional people add $10 each to price for double room.
• Children under 5 years of age stay free of charge (*excluding Suites where we do not allow children)
• Maximum people staying in a room are 4 (this includes adults or children with 2 adults)
• We reserve the right to cancel reservations that have not been prepaid.

September-October Special!
Any weekly booking begining in September or October receives 30% off.

Deposit Requirements

All reservations must be prepaid by the Travel Agency or Reservation centers, before their clients arrive to Hotel Tilawa.

Note: This deposit must be made in Colones at the daily exchange rate.

Cancellation policy

• Fifteen days notice for complete refund less a $25.00 administrative fee.
• Less than fifteen days for a 50% of the deposit
• No show on arrivals no refund.
• Peak season no refunds for cancellations unless cancellation notice provided to Hotel Tilawa at least 20 days prior to date of reservation.

Reservation Request

Please fill out the following form to request a reservation at the Hotel Tilawa on Lake Arenal in Costa Rica. We will reply to your request VIA EMAIL within 24 hours. If we do not respond within 24 hours, we either did not get your email or there is a possibility your email address is incorrect.

Please note that filling out this form does not constitute a confirmed reservation. We first need to check availability and discuss method of payment before we can confirm your reservation.
